Which products and services does SGS INSTITUT FRESENIUS test as part of the use of the name?
We primarily test packaged end products in the food industry, for example, sausage and meat products, cheese, pasta, fruit, vegetables, frozen foods, ice cream, water, beverages containing fruit juice, soft drinks, confectionery, dairy products, finished products, canned foods, baked goods, beverages, food supplements.
Food-related products and hygiene standards in the catering and hospitality industry can also be tested within the name usage program.
Can the quality seal for a product also be withdrawn?
Yes, this is possible. We test the products we seal at intervals appropriate to the product.
If deviations are found and the high quality requirements are no longer met, the seal is also consistently withdrawn.
